AIYAH!!! Just when I thought I was done with the University of California until April, look what I find while seeing how bogged down the UC server is: I'm not sure whether it was my fault or theirs, but I don't plan on studying women for the next four years at any UC! Fortunately, the bottom of that page mentions that not all hope is lost if there's something wrong and I could change it by writing them. I'm not sure if it means much that all my major selections were sent to the UC's last week
happy turkey day everyone... 0 messages - leave me a messageUPDATES 11.21.20049:53 PM
Like wow, this week has been so busy! Luckily, my Thanksgiving break began Wednesday afternoon. I went up to Mount Hermon with the ASB for the ACSI Leadership Retreat. Basically for us, it's two days of bragging how better our school is than all the others (so we say) and two days of eating and socializing. Had a pretty good time. Mount Hermon is pretty nice (although that's not hard to say after having gone to Mount Hope for the past 6 years...) Right after I got back, I went immediately to the GI doctor for a follow-up. To summarize it: more drugs and more tests. Saturday, I woke up early and did my last service project as a Boy Scout. In the 6 1/2 hours I worked, we filled an entire 50' rig and half of a 30' rig full of nonperishable food. Amazing! we beat our previous record by quite a lot. It was long and tiring but well worth it. Death to any of you who didn't give a couple cans to the Boy Scouts! I got home, rested an hour, then went out to dinner with Weijia and their family. Went to Bannana Leaf in Milpitas. Interesting place...i got Pineapple Fried Rice. Pretty good, but I would've been much more adventurous if I wasn't concerned with my stomach. Bzz agent sent me this game to try out called 20Q. It basically an electronic version of 20 questions for kids where it tries to guess what you're thinking. Despite it not getting a perfect score, it is a very intriguing piece of technology, probably requiring a ton of different algorithmns and stuff in its programming. it's a neat little thing. MY CELL PHONE DIED!!! My mom called on the way up to Mt. Hermon, and when I answered, the phone just shut off. Now I can only turn it on for like 2 seconds before it shuts off. I got stuck with the old Nokia. Oh, I got Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. Fun game, wish it had split screen, then I would've considered it the best game ever. Now, it has to share that honor with the Halo series. Movie #1 is checked off! Actually, I forgot to put it on my list. It was Polar Express in Imax 3D. Niiiiiiccceeee! Next up is National Treasure tomorrow and Incredibles Wednesday. 3 in a week ain't bad... 0 messages - leave me a messageHALFWAY THERE! 11.14.200411:37 PM

I'm so out of the loop on movies that I've set a personal goal to watch at least two movies during Thanksgiving and 3 during Christmas. Here's the list that I'm want to get through. Anyone want to join me? I'd appreciate the company... Out now: The Incredibles, Shark's Tale, Shall We Dance, Ladder 49, Friday Night Lights National Treasure - 11/19 0 messages - leave me a messageCOMPUTER WOES 11.07.20044:16 PM
my mouse is acting up...it moves like 1 mph at some points, so it takes a while just to get it to the start menu. when I was playing RCT3, my keyboard stopped responding so I couldn't turn the map around, so now all my rides are like 1 square off because I couldn't center them! windows xp always restarts when I try opening up a movie file, then the movie lags unless i pause it. my cookie settings are all messed up so I couldn't watch the Episode III trailer on my computer and had to use the other computer. my $300 video card has been going wacko lately. when i turned on the computer the monitor would be a bunch of moving colored squares like a corrupted display. i'd have to restart it about 15 times and pull the card out of the AGP slot and put it back in. *sigh 0 messages - leave me a messageAHH... 11.01.20049:39 PM
wow, that felt good! my parents got us 2 year memberships to Schroeber's so I can work out as much as I want. I'm hoping that'll help my stomach aches, but man i feel so refreshed! I went all out tonight so I'm really sore, but i feel a little better. tomorrow i'm skipping the first 2-3 periods to get an upper GI test, which is basically me drinking radioactive barium and getting a stomach x-ray. man, i'm praying sooooo hard that the upper GI will reveal what's going on. as you can tell, i'm quite tired of being sick. here's to a new hope for relief! PS: Vote tomorrow, fulfill your God-given right; don't be ignorant. (and check that one candidate whose name starts with a G, followed by a W, ends with a B, and is often referred to as the POTUS by the secret service... 0 messages - leave me a messageTIRED
